  • WHAT IS THE SIZE OF AN OAKREMOTE?

  • WHAT ARE THE MARKETS WE SERVE?

    The Climate Intelligence System can be used by everyone and is a product that can adapt itself to different needs. Currently, our business focuses on the hospitality management segment (hotel and motel owners and management companies) and the senior living community segments (nursing homes and assisted living networks) as well as office buildings.

  • HOW MUCH ENERGY/MONEY WILL I SAVE?

    The Climate Intelligence System routes 25% to 45% from the air conditioning in rooms energy consumption through a sophisticated algorithm that analyses thermal behaviors and maintains climate comfort. We enable immediate monitor & control capabilities and dramatically reduce excess energy consumption through intelligent automation.

  • HOW CAN SETPOINT HELP ME SAVE MONEY?

    The Climate Intelligence System develops a personalized plan, raising or lowering the temperature when nobody is occupying the room and is smart enough to know when to adjust to the desired temperature before a person even steps inside. By knowing when windows are open and when the room is being used, Setpoint creates savings of 20%-40% from a user’s air conditioning bill.

  • WHERE CAN I PURCHASE THE CLIMATE INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM?

    Currently, we are mainly focusing on the Israeli and US/ Canadian markets with a simple Plug & Play process. If you’d like to purchase the Climate Intelligence System, please let us know at office@setpoint.ai.

  • HOW DOES THE CLIMATE INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM AUTOMATE THE ROOM HEATING/COOLING PROCESS?

    Based on big data, it provides immediate remote monitor and control capabilities via web connected devices. Compatible with all kinds of air conditioning and heating systems (thermostat / IR / manual controlled), it relies on multiple wireless room sensors and operates energy systems through IR receptors, valves and contactors. It is quickly and wirelessly deployed, enabling scalable connectivity with central building control. Software includes artificial intelligence capabilities, analyzing room data from every sensor and providing summaries, recommendations and alerts. It automates room climate settings according to end user routines, weather changes and peak-demand tariffs.

FUNCTIONAL QUESTIONS

  • MY OAK PRODUCTS ARE NOT POWERING UP AFTER INSTALLATION. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

    Check the connection of the unit to electricity.

  • HOW DO I SCHEDULE A VACATION?

    You can schedule the vacation days on the unit program or order the unit to control the AC by motion sensor solely such that the AC only operates when the room is occupied.

  • WHAT TYPE OF BATTERIES SHOULD I USE WITH THE OAK DEVICES AND WHERE DO I GET THEM?

    CR 2032.  They can be found at any store that sells batteries.

  • HOW CAN I FIND THE ID NUMBER OF MY OAK DEVICES?

    On the upper and lower covers.

  • MY OAK DEVICE DOESN’T RESPOND TO THE THERMOSTAT, WHAT COULD BE THE REASON?

    Communication problem. Send the update command without any change in the program.

  • HOW CAN I RESTART MY OAK DEVICE?

    Disconnect the Oak Device from the electricity supply and plug it in back after 20 seconds.

  • WHEN I INSERT THE BATTERIES, NOTHING HAPPENS. WHAT COULD BE THE REASON?

    For the OakRoom, it is not responding to a new battery. The battery will help the unit restore the time in the internal clock. For the window sensor, it will send a ZigBee message to the main unit. You can see the last window report in the sensor line in the system.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE A BLACKOUT?

    After reconnecting to the electricity or communication, the Oak Device will restore to the last memory function.

  • WHO CAN I CONTACT ON SATURDAYS (SHABBAT)?

  • I HAVE LOST COMMUNICATION WITH THE OAK DEVICE. HOW CAN I SOLVE THE PROBLEM?

    Send an update command without any change in the program. If not working, disconnect the Oak Device from the electricity supply and plug it in back after 20 seconds.

  • MY OAK DEVICE IS NOT ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE ZIGBEE NETWORK.

  • MY UNIT’S BASIC FUNCTIONALITY (HEATING/COOLING) ARE NOT VALIDATED. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

  • I CAN NOT HEAR THE BEEP WHILE INSTALLING.

    After finishing installation of the unit, connect it to the electricity and then you will hear the beep.

  • I AM UNABLE TO RECOGNIZE WHAT TYPOLOGY OF SENSORS I HAVE IN THE KIT.

  • HOW CAN I INSTALL OAK DEVICES?

    Oak Devices are very easy to install, using our Plug & Play process. Please contact us at office@setpoint.ai, and we’ll get you set up in less than 30 minutes.

  • HOW MUCH DOES THE INSTALLATION COST?

    Installation of Oak Devices is included in the service. We provide the service of a professional technician so that all you have to do is to enjoy the change in your daily life.

  • DOES A MULTIROOM STRUCTURE POSE A PROBLEM?

    The Climate Intelligence System is a service that is appropriate for a wide variety of situations, including multiroom structures. In fact, it relies on multiple wireless room sensors and operates energy systems through IR receptors, valves and contactors. It is quickly and wirelessly deployed, enabling scalable connectivity with the central building control.
